There is not much more in life more convenient that a pre-batched cocktail. Not all cocktails can be pre-batched as you need a sufficiently high mixed ABV to prevent spoilage but thankfully the Manhattan and Old fashioned are safe. I prefer the Cocchi vermouth in this (or more accurately can’t stand any other vermouth available at the LCBO) and making it is as easy as scaling up the recipe to fit whatever bottle you want. I store the finished batch cocktail in the freezer but then I always have to dilute it with water as it will be too strong if it doesn’t melt ice.
